Biology: The female lays eggs, either singly or in bunches, on water surface or wet places. Their life cycle from 10 to 24 days. These kinds of flying pests distributed all around the place as a result of bio-rubbish accumulation.
Mosquitoes health significance:
- Mosquitoes are the only known means of transmission of the causal agents of malaria, yellow fever, some types of encephalitis, dengue, and filariasis.
- They are also severe pests because of their annoyance to people, and many good recreational area are not usable during certain periods of the year because of mosquitoes.
